She was predeceased by: her husband Elijah L Adams; and her parents, J. M. Atha and Ruby Atha. She is survived by: her daughter Danielle Eagerton Bailey; her sisters, Tanya Barnes, Brenda (Clyde Langston), Claudette (Bill Shea), Annette (Bradford Croy) and Rhonda Shea; and her nephew Scott Barnes.
