She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hood and Pearlie Hood; her siblings, Jean Garritoni, Jimmy Hood and Pallie Griffeth; and her brother-in-law W. A. Pittman.
She is survived by: her sisters, Geneva Pittman and Joanne Stephenson (Harry); and her children, Monte Chambers (Joyce), June Davis, Shelley Kelley (Ronald), Scott Lovern and Timothy Lovern (April). She is also survived by ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
