It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Durand (Monroe, Georgia), who passed away on September 24, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Daniel and Lutisha Hawk Daniel; her husband Howard Lent Durand; and her son Michael Durand. She is survived by: her daughters, Patty Moon of Monroe, Jean (Pat Harrell) and Becky (Tim Atha); her daughter-in-law Gaye Durand of Monroe; and her grandchildren, Andy Perry, Kenneth Perry, Meredith Taulbee, Valorie Clark, Lindsey, Nick Townsend, Bradley Atha and Shane Durand.
