He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Virginia Lois Hughes Gordy and Morris Wayne Hughes, Sr.; his wife Sheila Hughes of Molena; his son Wayne Hughes III (Jamie) of Marietta, GA; his sister Donna Saunders of Forsyth, GA; his stepmother June Hughes of Fayetteville, GA; his stepsister Lynn Huddleston (Johnny) of Fayetteville, GA; his brother Monte Turner (Sissie) of Gaylesville, AL; his brother-in-law Eddie Keller of Molena, GA; and his uncle Dewey Hughes (Martha) of Dalton, GA. He was also cherished by two grandsons, and many nieces and nephews.
