She was predeceased by: her parents, William David Nelson and Amelia Dorothy Kolling Nelson; her husband Everett Scott Bowers; her son Scott Bowers; and her brothers, Lelon Nelson and Paul Nelson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Stinnett of Molena, GA, Linda Bowers of Murfreesboro, TN and Kim Bowers of Nashville, TN; her grandsons, James Stinnett (Robin) and Michael Stinnett (Amy); her great grandchildren, Emma, Ava, Becca, Josh and Miley; and her sister Maraldine Larson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
