He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Terrell Sammons and Eloise Sammons; his grandparents, Willis and Georgia Sammons; his sisters, Mary Jane "Janie" Radford Johnson and Jackie Elizabeth Sammons Mowery; and his uncles, JC Sammons, George Sammons, Eugene Sammons, Lester Sammons, Thomas Sammons, Hugh Sammons and William Sammons.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Sammons; his son Adam Jarrel Sammons; his grandchildren, Kassidy, Cheyeann, Waylon, Destiny, Ivey, Kalyn, Riley, Macon, Logan, Nathan, Jessie, Josie, Hunter, Adalyn, Sadie, Ethan, Sophia Grace and Kelsey James; his great grandchildren, Savannah, Landon and Bella; his sisters, Pam Williford (Logan) and Judy Solie (Richard); his stepmother Peggy Sammons; his friends, Jay, Maria Casper, Kayla Ernst (Andrew) and Phillip Casper (Jenna); and also, Kristie Sammons (Chris), Heather Smith (Lee) and Amanda Renee Moore (Blake).
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Sheppard Memorial Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home Gibson (57 College St, Gibson, GA 30810).
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations be made to Taylor Funeral home in Gibson in Jarrell's name.
