With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Lee Amerson (Mitchell, Georgia), born in Warrenton, Georgia, who passed away on December 3, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ken; her parents, Pierce Yarbrough (Ken) and Frances Yarbrough; and her siblings, Alfred Yarbrough and Helen Lane.
She is survived by: her children, Gayle Lowery (Tad), David Amerson (Carolyn) and Stan Amerson (Carolyn); her nieces, Beverly Barton (Randy), Julie Sammons (Gary) and Marie Adams (James); her grandchildren, Kristen Larson (Andy), Amy Lowrey, Chase Amerson (Kimberly), Bobby Amerson, Evan Amerson, Lauren Huckabay (Logan), Lindsey Ragsdale (Tyler) and Jordan Amerson; her great grandchildren, Ellie Larson, Summer Larson, Grady Amerson, Rhett Huckabay, Bonnie Ragsdale and Makenna Ragsdale; and also David. She is also survived by her family and friends, including her new friends.
