He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Curtis and Teresa Hyde Curtis; and his father-in-law Sam "Bud" Harris. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Harris Curtis; his son Jerrod; his daughter-in-law Whitley Curtis of McCaysville, GA; his daughters, Kelsey (Brady Carver) and Katie Curtis of Mineral Bluff; his siblings, Shawn Curtis of Mineral Bluff and Pamela; his brother-in-law Rodger Keith of Mineral Bluff; his grandson Ian Carver; his mother-in-law Rosie Mae Harris of Mineral Bluff, GA; his nephews, Jeremiah Keith and Talyn Curtis; and his niece Emilee Godfrey. He is also survived by five great nieces and nephews.
