He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil James Helton, Sr. and Beulah Gaddis Helton. He is survived by: his wife Linda W. Helton; his siblings, Clinton Helton of Mineral Bluff, James Helton (Gail) of Mineral Bluff, Beatrice "Susie" Helton of Chickamauga, GA, Lucille (Waycross) and Janice Callihan of Ellijay, GA; his nieces and nephews, Sharon, Russell Daves of Morganton and Chris Helton; and his great-nephew Luke Daves.
