It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nora Jane McCoy of Mineral Bluff, Georgia, born in Pikeville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 25, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Wells and Gertrude Woodruff Wells; her husband Richard Scott McCoy II; and her siblings, Bill Wells, Gertrude Wells, Mary Wells and Elsie Sydenstricker.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Scott McCoy III of Mineral Bluff, GA. and Debbie Sue Wright (Evans Wright); her grandson Shane Wright (Karen); and her great grandchildren, Nolan and Hayes Wright.
