He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry T. Woodyard, Sr. and Estelle Lanier Woodyard; and his siblings, Henry T. Woodyard, Jr. and Estelle Woodyard Redhouse. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Marlowe Woodyard; his daughter Kathryn "Kitty" Woodyard of Albany, GA; his nephews, Henry Woodyard, Richard Woodyard (Jan) and William Woodyard (Sherri); and his niece Cherie Funderburk.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to the Philmont Staff Association, at 17 Deer Run Road, Cimarron, NM 87714 or through the website http://www.philstaff.org.
