He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Flowers; his children, James Howard, Robert D. Flowers (Charlotte), Joseph Flowers, Heath Flowers (Pamella), James Authur Flowers, Jr., Randy Clore (Sheila), Evelyn Flowers and Penny L. Wishart (Douglas); and his siblings, Robert B. Sanders, Charles Flowers (Francis), Mildred Ross, Etta Ruth Greenway (Eddie) and Katherine Raper. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren.
