With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gordon Alfred Hewett of Mineral Bluff, Georgia, born in Sydney, New South Wales, who passed away on January 20, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Hewett and Ida May Moss Hewett; and his brother Colin Hewett of Queensland, Australia.. He is survived by: his wife Kay Southwell Hewett of Mineral Bluff; his sons, Brendon (Susie Hewett) and Shannon Hewett of Canberra; his brother Allen; his sister-in-law Glenda Hewett of Sydney; his sister Dianne Ponder; his sister-in-law Arianna Hewett of Queensland; and his grandchildren, Jye, Marley, Jessica, Cameron, Ignatius and Matilda. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to Project Chimps in Gordon's memory.
