He is survived by: his wife Odetta Patterson; his children, Sharon (Mark Crenshaw), Amanda (Marshall Collins), Holly (Darrell Rennels) and Jeremy (Stephanie Greer); his grandchildren, Dalton Patterson of Blairsville, GA and Jessica Patterson of Blue Ridge; his siblings, Gerald Patterson (Rachel) of Ellijay, GA and Linda Patterson Hancock (Buddy Whitaker) of Harrison, TN; and his aunt Jeanette Dockery of McCaysville, GA. He is also survived by other grandchildren and great grand-children.
