It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Evans Burden of Mineral Bluff, Georgia, born in Hogansville, Georgia, who passed away on September 15, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sara Burden and Claude Shaffer Burden; and his brother Claude Shaffer Burden III. He is survived by: his wife Diane Burden; his children, Jennifer Ashley Testino (Joseph), William E. Rogers (Laura) and Jodi Burden Holland; and his sister Sara Strain. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel of Blue Ridge (3911 Appalachian Hwy, Blue Ridge, GA 30513). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Westview Cemetery (1680 Westview Dr SW, Atlanta, GA 30310).
