He was predeceased by: his parents, Sara Burden and Claude Shaffer Burden; and his brother Claude Shaffer Burden III. He is survived by: his wife Diane Burden; his children, Jennifer Ashley Testino (Joseph), William E. Rogers (Laura) and Jodi Burden Holland; and his sister Sara Strain. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
