Charles Edward Hawkins Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Edward Hawkins of Mineral Bluff, Georgia, who passed away on August 26, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Elizabeth Bell Hawkins; his wife Lois Gibson Hawkins; his father Atley Hawkins; his siblings, Cliff Hawkins, Jean Hawkins Helton and Ethlene Hawkins Helton; and his sons-in-law, Phillip Thomas and Chris Deal.
He is survived by: his children, Sue Bryson (Jack), Sherry Hicks (Mitchell), Brenda Thomas, Ann Graves (Scott), Tammy Shields (Bobby Joe), Dale Mathis (Joe), Lori Deal, Ed Hawkins (Betty), Tim Hawkins (Dana), Mike Hawkins (Dana) and Denny Hawkins (Amy); and his siblings, Kathy McClure, Bob Hawkins, Ben Hawkins and Leroy Hawkins. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the ALS Foundation of Georgia or to the American Heart Association.
