He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis M. Shields and Beulah Stiles Shields. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Faust Shields; his sons, Bobby Joe Shields (Tammy) and Scott Shields (Tonya); his stepchildren, Travis Mileti (Marie), Brian Mileti and Tami Rayburn (Brian); and his brother Gene Shields (Glenda). He is also survived by 11 Great Grandchildren.
