She was predeceased by: her parents, Everette Henry and Beulah Davis Henry; her husband W. J. Buchanan; and her brothers, J. P. Henry, Emmett Henry, Oscar Henry, Thomas Henry and Danny Henry.
She is survived by: her daughter Angela Buchanan; her siblings, Margie Brown, Faye Dillard (James), Dorothy Conner, Jane Owens (Norman) and Alvin Henry (JoAnn); and her granddaughter Celeste Lance. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
