She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Darden and Flora Darden; and also Grover Darden, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Johnny Torbert; her daughter Lisa Piper (Donald); her grandchildren, Christopher A. Piper, Kelly Piper (Amy) and Christopher Lee Piper (Jessie); her great grandchildren, Kyle, Gracie, Isaiah, Makinsley, Chandler, Hudson, Leland, Jayla and Kysmic; and her siblings, Radine Darden (Patty) and Hazel Faulkner (Charles). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (200 Zebulon St, Barnesville, GA 30204). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
