With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Monty V. Johnston of Milner, Georgia, who passed away on March 15, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Johnston and Crystal Johnston; and his brother Thomas Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Nellie Kate Johnston; his children, David Mullins (Cheryl), Scott Mullins (Katie) and Amy Swanson (Wallace); his grandchildren, Nathan Mullins, Kyle Caraway (Jana), Haley Caraway and Katelyn Mercer (Daniel); and his great grandchildren, Jace Caraway, Kamden Caraway and Carson Mercer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
