She was predeceased by: her parents, Polly Smith Cleveland and Johnson Cleveland; her husband Virgil Alexander; her son Wesley O'Neal Alexander; and her sister Annie Pearl Chaney.
She is survived by: her stepfather Willie Jo Lumsden; her children, Cheryl Ann Reviere of Detroit, MI, Polly Lynette Alexander of Thomaston, GA, Joyce Deloire Alexander of Thomaston, GA, Cathy Olivia Alexander (Jesse) of Thomaston, GA and Robin Clarisa Alexander of Thomaston, GA; and her friends, Annie Mae Warner of Thomaston, GA, Geraltine Phillips of Thomaston, GA and Gracie Mae Childs of Thomaston, GA. She is also survived by six grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren; two nieces, and nephews.
