She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Dorsey Hand and Nora Fannin Hand; and her siblings, Joe, Clyde, Frances, Paul Allen and Talmadge.
She is survived by: her husband Tom Welch; her children, Shereen (Tom Crowley), Cathy (David Crook), Teresa Burke and Jeff Hand; her grandchildren, Dr. Scott (Larissa Hartnett), Gabriel (Mary Roberts), Seth Roberts, Abigail John Marshall, Laurie Jean (Josh Williams), Tommy Smith, Keith (Brittany Moore), Oliver Jordan (Jessica Moore), Lanie (Nick McMillan), Brice (Gabriella Swope) and Vince Crowley (Jarred Crowley); and her siblings, Sue Johnson, Jerry Hand, Patsy Sprayberry, Sherry Twedell and Ronnie Hand. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
