It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leila Carol Thompson of Millwood, Georgia, who passed away on November 18, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clinton Ray Allen and Vivian Sears White. She is survived by: her husband Horace Perry Thompson of Millwood; her children, Jane Logue (Cliff) of Waycross, Perry Thompson (Tina) of Millwood, Ray Thompson (Beth) of Millwood, Penny Deems (Ricky) of Millwood and Kelly Thompson (Devon) of Athens; her sister Carlene Tanner (late Frank) of Jesup; her stepmother Sue Allen; and her stepsister Vanessa Murray. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
