She was predeceased by: her husband David Boatright; her parents, Isbon Mercer and Mamie Mercer; her brother Raymond Mercer; her siblings-in-law, Ann Mercer and W. A. "Tom" Sowell; her grandparents, Johnny, Alice Kinnon, Mack and Ira Mercer; and her sister Mamie Ruth Mercer.
She is survived by: her children, Allen Taylor (Debbie) of Waycross, Chris Taylor (Michelle) of Waycross and Dana Tucker of Millwood; her grandchildren, Melissa Reyes (Christian) of Atlanta, Bryce Taylor of Waycross, Zena Taylor Lloyd (Zach) of Waycross, Amber Taylor Carter (Hunter) of Blackshear, Brooke Morris of Waycross, Robbie Dixon (Jennifer) of Blackshear and Christy Lyles (Brett) of Blackshear; her great grandchildren, Teagan Dixon, Paloma Reyes and Raphael Reyes; and her sisters, Dolorce Sowell Brannon (Robert) of Waycross and Annette Housley of Ahoskie. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
