He was predeceased by: his parents, Lennie Maud Stephens and Folks Elsie Bennett; his wife Mary Frances Crosby Bennett; his son Folks Jared Bennett; his siblings, Earl Eugene Bennett, Jennie Maud Hood, Gwin Michael Bennett, Guylan Stephen Bennett and Theresa Faye Hayes; and his brothers-in-law, Hyrum Hood and Kenneth Hayes.
He is survived by: his daughters, Gloria Jean Boswell (Eric) and Delores Verona Petite (Angelo); his siblings, Dane Jason Bennett (Marlene), Virgil Eric Bennett (Linda), Marietta Arnold (Huey) and LaVerne Wade; and his sister-in-law Pearley Bennett. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
