He is survived by: his wife Angela "Deen" Bennett Gainey of Millwood; his children, Selina Gainey of Waycross, John Gainey (Angie) of Waycross and Nicky Beard of Waycross; his pets, Poppy and Copper; his grandchildren, Maegan, Sarah Holton, Nicole, Seth Clement, Helen, Lana Beard and Brady Lee; his sister Brenda Davis of Douglas; and his close friends, Chuck, Cheryl, Hunter, Bruce Thomas, Jesse Guy and Verla Williams.
