He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edward Salter and Earline Mock Salter; his sister Cheryl Salter Tice; and his nephew Ricky Goforth. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his children, Robin Earlene Salter Rainey (Chris) of Garfield, Paul Todd Salter (Shaydia) of Johnson City, TN and Maria Adele Salter of Philadelphia, PA; his grandchildren, Thomas Edward Rainey and Emma Schuurnan; his brother William L. Salter (Jane) of Charlotte, NC; and his great-nephews, Corey Michael Goforth, Lance Tyler Goforth, Robert Bruce Dixon III, Benjamin Daniel Dixon and Aaron Matthew Dixon.
