She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis W. Brinson and Annie Laurie Smith Brinson; and her siblings, Juel B. Waters, Coree J. Brinson, Gibb O. Brinson and Caroline B. Clifton.
She is survived by: her children, Glen E. Mays (Kathy) of Perkins and Dr. Gloria Jean Mays of College Station, TX; her sister Aurelia B. Black (F. A.) of Millen; and her grandchildren, Cindy M. Anderson Jonathan (Todd), Amanda R. Mays, Jay T. Bowers and Andrew M. Mays. She is also survived by several step grandchildren, several great grandchildren several nieces and nephews.
