Though Rita may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rita touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Redd and Annette Harloam (Pat); her brother William Redd (Bubba); and her stepfather Pat Harloam. She is survived by: her children, Danny Burke (Kali) of Brooklet, GA and Christy Burke of Millen, GA; her grandchildren, Blake Hucks, Burkley Cook, Carlee Burke and Britten Burke; and her siblings, Patricia Folger (Joey), Donna Sherrill (Sam), Lisa Harloam and Wayne Redd (Fay). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
