He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Reese and Kathryn Reese. He is survived by: his siblings, Mike Reese (Janice) of Millen, Beth Carscallen of Atlanta and Becky Johnson (Don) of Statesboro; his nephew Hud Reese; and his niece Chansley Reese of Millen.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jenkins County Memorial Library.
