She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Louis Becton; her parents, Clyde Alvin Cleland and Louise Tilley Cleland; and her siblings, Joe Cleland (Ellen) and Dolawese Edison (late Ronald).
She is survived by: her siblings, Daisy Davis (late Ralph), Roger Cleland (Henrilyn), Cathy Black (J. W.), Ann Britton (late Steve), Ray Cleland (late Linda), Wanda Smith (late Randy) and Patsy Burkhalter (Doug); her sons, Robert Wayne Becton and Stephen Louis Becton; her grandchildren, Nina Marie Becton, John Robert Becton (Diana), Daniel Lewis Becton (Kaitlin), Skyler Austin (Joseph), Jacob Hartzog and Denny Hartzog; and her cousins, Christopher Curtis and Mandy Curtis Austin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Garden City, 35 Nelson Ave, Garden City, GA 31408, in memory of Mary's lifelong devotion to her faith and community.
