He is survived by: his wife Jan Rackley of Millen; his daughters, Anna Herrington (John) of Waynesboro and Sarah Holley (Rob) of Evans; his grandchildren, Lilly, Ellis Herrington, Emeri and Eva Holley; and his sister Bettye G. Tankersley (Harry) of Statesboro.
