He was predeceased by: his son Jerry Wayne Clifton, Jr.; his parents, Emmitt Clifton and Mary Moore Clifton Harris; his stepfather William Harris; his grandson Anttaney Clifton; and his sister-in-law Vickie Clifton.
He is survived by: his daughter Kristy Clifton Akridge of Sardis, GA; his stepchildren, Lee Amerson of Millen and Alicia McKinney (Avery) of Stilson, GA; and his brothers, Darrel Clifton (Margaret Ann) of Millen and Jerald Clifton of Augusta, GA.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Millen Cemetery (1029 College Ave, Millen, GA 30442). A reception will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM.
