It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James D. Bennett (Millen, Georgia), who passed away on August 10, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bennett and Betty Bennett; his sisters, June Purnell and Joyce Waters; and his brother-in-law Chris Suggs.
He is survived by: his wife Lynne; his children, Jamie Bennett (Tabatha) of Garfield and Bess Bennett of Summertown; his sister Beth Suggs of Millen; and his father-in-law Charles Mitchell of Statesboro. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
