She was predeceased by: her parents, Jennie Burns and Linton Lewis; and her siblings, Grady Lewis, Emory Lewis, Turkey Lewis, Wilda Dickey and Martha Scott.
She is survived by: her husband Russell E. Thompson of Millen; her daughter Kelly Kemp of Statesboro; her stepchildren, Marly Hinks (Nathan) and Garrett Thompson (Christine) of Warner Robbins; her grandchildren, Jordan Cryder (Junior) of Sylvania, Leah Vangiller of Statesboro and Jarrett McBride (Caitlyn) of Sylvania; and her great grandchild Gadson McBride.
