He is survived by: his wife Sue Gillis; his children, Pam Gillis Gilbertz (Dave) and Freddy Gillis; his grandchildren, Ceilidh Watson, Zach Watson (Nabrin Noor) and Elijah Watson; his great grandchild Poinciana Noor-Watson; his siblings, Joyce Gillis Williams (Johnny) and Charles Gillis (Kathy); and his sister-in-law Johnnie Wilson Gillis.
