He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Flakes and Nellie Flakes; and his brothers, Lester Flakes and Raymond Flakes. He is survived by: his children, Douglas Flakes, Jr. (DJ) of Waynesboro, Thomas Flakes of Millen and KaSara Flakes of Sandersville; and his siblings, Janet Driggers of Statesboro, Virginia Clarke (Arnold), Debra Flakes of Millen and David Flakes (Patricia) of Waynesboro. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
