He is survived by: his mother Patricia Moore Pye (Jimmy) of Portal, GA; his daughter Jordan Smitherman (Mac) of Fort Bragg, NC; his grandchildren, Savanna Brooke Smitherman and Malcolm D. "Trace" Smitherman III; and his siblings, Michael Burke (Sherrie) of Midville, GA, Tommy Burke of Portal, GA, Susan Hall (Benny) of Millen, GA and Crystal Bragg (Randy) of Ypsilanti, MI. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
