He was predeceased by: his father Wilton Saxon; his friend Bobby Womack; his mother Evelyn Myers; and his brothers, Richard Saxon and Clarence Saxon.
He is survived by: his pet Zorette; his children, Charles Saxon Jr. "Bubba" (Hannah), Melissa Trafficanti, Melinda Rich (Earl), Glenda Bowen, Shannon Williamson (Joseph Williamson) and Paula Frahm (Ryan); his cousins, Hub and Emma Bryant; and his friend Glenda Burke. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; many other family and friends.
