He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Bassett Saxon of Millen, GA; his children, Beth Thompson (Gailyn) of Millen, GA and Grady Carroll "Buddy" Saxon, Jr. (Tina) of Millen, GA; his sisters, Frankie S. Adams of Savannah, GA, Myra S. Herrington of Waynesboro, GA and Jean S. Davenport of Athens, GA; his grandchildren, Mitchell Thompson (Amy), Erica Thompson, Meredith Saxon and Logan Saxon; his great grandchildren, Brixton Thompson, Bryce Lane and Treble Lastinger; and his brother-in-law Glynn Bassett (Gail) of Millen, GA. He is also survived by Several Nieces and Nephews.
