It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Zelma Taylor Turner of Milledgeville, Georgia, who passed away on April 12, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Odis Turner; her parents, Thomas Taylor and Ruth Taylor; and her siblings, Gene Taylor, Wayne Taylor, Sidney Taylor, Marie Dorsey and Darlene Taylor.
She is survived by: her daughter Amy Turner Housworth of Milledgeville; and her sister Nina Gaddis of Jackson. She is also survived by brother-in-law and sister-in-law many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Green Meadow Memorial Gardens (699 American Legion Rd NE, Conyers, GA 30012). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Scot Ward's Green Meadow Chapel (699 American Legion Rd NE, Conyers, GA 30012). A burial was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at the Resthaven Memory Gardens (2284 Candler Rd, Decatur, GA 30032).
