He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Adrian Owens and Hazel Owens; his wife Ruth Gilmore Owens of Milledgeville; his daughter Cynthia Owens Topps; his son-in-law David Topps of Cornwall, NY; his sister Doris Gwinette of Forest Park; and his godchildren, James Dudley of Columbus and Theresa Gwinette of Forest Park. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
