He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian "Pete" Etheridge and Fannie Lee Layfield Etheridge; and his siblings, Ida Lavinia Etheridge Harrison and Tony Merlin Etheridge. He is survived by: his brothers, Julian Etheridge, James Etheridge (Shirley), Lamar Etheridge (Brenda) and John Etheridge. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
