She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Isaac and Hattie Caroline Lynch Sullivan; her husband Rufus Eugene Brown; her son Robert Eugene Brown; and her sister Wanna Lou Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Peeler (Al) and David Alan Brown (Carol); her daughter-in-law Rebecca Dawson Brown of Milledgeville; and her grandchildren, Bob Brown (Kensley), Jim Brown (Brandi), Jason Brown (Becky), Laurie Tyson (Craig), Jeremy Peeler (Jessica) and Josh Peeler (Farrer). She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
