It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Susan Simpson of Milledgeville, Georgia, who passed away on January 18, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bill" Simpson; her parents, Alline Moats and John Wilis Bell; and her siblings, Nancy Cromer, Sally Moats Bell and John W. Bell, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Sally Balkcum (Richard) of Augusta, Amy Betsa (Howard) of Placida, FL, Ellen Fryman (Paul) of Bowling Green, KY and Lucy Harkness (Doug) of Lawrenceville, GA.; her grandchildren, Will Caudill (Amy), Susan High (Roy), Patrick Tiller, Emily Harlan (Nate), Phillip Fryman, Sara Harkness, Lauren Harkness, Alaina Harkness, Ally Harkness and Angie Hollingsworth; her great grandchildren, Zane, Drew Caudill, Madison Kershaw, Ella Harlan, Aubree Tiller and Brandi Fanczi (Steven); and her great great grandchild Colton Fanczi.
Masks are encouraged and social distancing will be required.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial gifts be given to the "Bill Simpson Memorial Mission Fund" at First Baptist P.O. Box 795, Milledgeville, Ga. 31059-0795.
