He is survived by: his wife Kim Register Shipes; his mother Judy Hughes Shipes; his daughters, Randi Stribling (Lance) and Raegan Renfroe (Adam Riley); his brother Daniel Shipes (Robyn); his niece Julia Shipes; his nephew Jackson Shipes; his uncles, Harry Hughes (Ann) and Curtis Hughes; and his grandchildren, Whip Whipple and Lyla Stribling.
