Sibley West Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 8, 2020, at the age of 97, Sibley West (Milledgeville, Georgia) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sibley West to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard West and Vivian Wilkinson West; his siblings, O. B. West, Martha Gladin and Ruth Avant; and his granddaughter Shellie Smith Polimeni.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue Hawthorne West; his children, Pat Smith of Eatonton and Johnny West (Lurline) of Milledgeville; his siblings, Ralph West of Milledgeville, James West of Vidalia and Alice Ryle of Winston Salem, NC; and his grandchildren, Melanie Wilson, Bryan Smith, Brandon West and Claire West Hogue. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to Hardies Chapel Church of Christ, 100 Hardies Chapel Lane, Gordon, GA 31031 or to the Coopers Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 100 Coopers Church Rd. SW Milledgeville, GA 31061.
