She was predeceased by: her parents, Mairlon Lonnie Lovett and Carolyn Ardelia Gunter Lovett; her husbands, Eulie Guy "E. G." Harden and Fredric H. Reeves; and her children, Zelma Gay Purvis, Grady Ward Purvis and Marion Parker Purvis.

She is survived by: her children, Zelda Fay Purvis of Fitzgerald and Wendell Jay Purvis (Neal Borders) of Villa Rica; her former husband Charles Parkerson Purvis; her brothers, Thomas Lonnie Lovett of Spring Grove, PA and Lawton David Lovett of Fitzgerald; and her grandchildren, Sandra Purvis Selph, Leah Fussell Dickens, Cara Fussell Peavy, Jena Fussell Rainey, Cody Fussell and Kali Fussell. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
