She was predeceased by: her father Sanford Edwards; her husband Marvin Denton; her sisters, Gwen Jordan and Josephine Pilcher; and her sister-in-law Mary Jo Peacock.
She is survived by: her sons, Darius Denton (Jeff) of St. Pete Beach, FL and Kent Denton (Melanie); her grandchildren, Avery Denton (Erin) and Riley Denton; and her great grandchild Charlie Denton of Milledgeville.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial contributions be made to First Baptist Church P.O. Box 795, Milledgeville, GA 31059.
