He is survived by: his daughters, Rose Mary Batson and Carol Lynn Batson McCook; his sister Carolyn B. Smith Anderson; his granddaughter Meredith McCook of Milledgeville; and his stepchildren, Ronnie Humphreys, Vivian Boyce and Donna Estes.
